Today, I was just sitting pool-side at CUEinc conference 2016. Laid back and people watching in between sessions, I was feeling blessed. Then @sandramc59 opened the schedule. She started reading off the next sessions. “This one is for you! ‘But I don’t Blog’, she read off” The feelings of dread washed over me. She is going make me blog!
I was asked to confess my excuses about why I don’t blog.
I was asked to reflect on my passions.
I was asked to declare my purpose.
And now here I am; I opened this Google Doc and started writing. I made a commitment to my friend and colleague. I have accountability at the end of the day to produce and publish this in Blogger.
Now, I am reflecting again on my excuses. I don’t feel confident in my passions, my purpose or my commitment. However, I do feel proud that Sandra will read my first attempt at learning #FAIL and she may smile. If that is all this accomplishes today, I would love to see her smile.
